Poisonous Beauty

This was a present I got for my mom last year for her birthday. She loves flowers and I had never seen one like this. It's genus is Digitalis. These flowers are known to be fatal if ingested, affecting the cardiac system.

Ironically, this plant is used to help with heart conditions when successfully cultured in the lab.
Go figure.
